Also, each of the 3 beneficiaries organized a thematic training depending on the specifics of the predominant emergency situation to increase the emergency situations management efficiency of local communities by creating and stimulating a participatory attitude. Each training involved 30 volunteers, 10 from each beneficiary, who will operate the equipment purchased through the project. The applications started to a training introductory module, which was followed by a simulated exercise. Each exercise included information about: common informational flow; organization of own intervention forces activity; organization/ preparation of the evacuation of people, goods, animals; organization of own logistics; organization of activities to prevent/ limit the natural hazard effects; evaluation of natural hazards effects; assurance of the people’s survival conditions; rehabilitation of the affected areas; management of mass-media relations.
